Amber will be appearing in the new season of House. She will be playing a young medical student recruited by House, and according to Entertainment Weekly, her character is “a fresh face up against House. Amber is working on a new tv pilot for CBS called The Quinn-Tuplets which is based on the Israeli show “The Ran Quartet” and follows a crew of five adults whose lives had been documented and broadcast since childbirth. Along with Amber it also stars Anna Chlumsky, Sam Witwer, Kenneth Mitchell and David Giuntoli. [Source] Thanks to Brad for the heads up!

Amber has booked a new movie role!

Amber Tamblyn has signed on to star opposite James Franco in the Danny Boyle-directed 127 Hours. The drama tells the true-life story of Aron Ralston, the mountain climber who cut off his arm with a dull knife to save his life after being unable to free the limb from under a boulder. Tamblyn will play his girlfriend, with their relationship played out in flashbacks that keep him going. [Source]

On November 9th Amber participated in 24 Hour Plays On Broadway and I added some photos to the gallery.

Amber will be part of the cast of the 9th annual The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway presented on November 9th at the American Airlines Theatre in New York. Other cast members include Ashton Kutcher, Rosie Perez, Julia Stiles, and many more. [Source]
